Stained glass windows have inspired, calmed, and enhanced spaces throughout the ages, with the beauty of light through colour and texture capturing stories and images to ponder and share. During this six-week course, participants will learn or develop the skills of glass cutting and shaping, applying copper foil and lead came, soldering and finishing a 10-inch by 16-inch stained glass panel. Safe handling of equipment and material will also be covered. Beginner and intermediate participants are welcome.
Includes metal kit comprising of copper foil, lead came, zinc came, and solder, as well as project pattern (there are several designs to choose from).
Glass is not included and can be purchased during the course.
