Unlock the art of traditional painting on glass. Step into the world of glass artistry in this dynamic workshop lead by guest artist, Udiya Swamy. You will learn how to bring your vision to life using brushwork techniques, vibrant colours, and the unique magic of vitreous paint and enamels.
Whether you are a seasoned artist looking to elevate your skills or beginning your journey with glass painting, this immersive experience is designed to spark creativity and expand your technique. You will discover how to combine enamel and vitreous paints to create compelling, light-catching images on glass.
By the end of the workshop, you will have made two suncatchers and three pendants, each ready to be fired in the kiln. The suncatchers will help you master backlit compositions and navigate the challenges of working with opaque enamels. The pendants will focus on the art of front-illuminated designs, offering a completely different perspective and style.
Join us and leave not only with beautiful, hand-crafted pieces — but with the skills and inspiration to keep creating long after the workshop ends.
