Welcome to Glasstronomy Studios’ adult art glass workshop program. This calendar details the beginner sessions offered during September 2022 for people just getting started in glass or wanting to refresh their skills.
The remainder of the Fall calendar will be published at the end of August 2022 and offers general, intermediate, and advanced learning opportunities.
Fall is the perfect time to engage in art glass exploration. Our project-based learning program teaches best practices and techniques that will give you a taste of the possibilities. Explore the medium in a fun and friendly environment while creating something uniquely yours.

To register, we currently accept payment in person (cash, Debit, MasterCard and Visa), by email (etransfer), or by phone (MasterCard and Visa). Please note that HST will be added to the listed fee at time of payment.
Cancellation policy: A Studio credit will be issued for cancellations up to 48 hours before start date. We regret that Studio credits will not be issued under the 48-hour threshold.
Studio credits can be applied to a future purchase of a workshop or course.

Fine print — As of March 2020, non-members who are first-time registrants are required to complete and sign a waiver * prior to participating in the learning session they are paying for. The waiver is an acknowledgment of our cancellation policy (mandatory), waiver of liability (mandatory), and image use (optional). If you choose a remote method of payment, the waiver will be emailed to you. Registration will not be deemed complete until the signed waiver is emailed back.
* If you are under the age of 18, a legal guardian must sign on your behalf.
Welcome to stained glass! Bright and engaging, stained glass is a wonderful medium to inspire creativity and relaxation. This four-week course includes hands on instruction in traditional lead came stained glass in our spacious and fully-equipped studio. Participants will learn how to safely handle, cut and break sheet glass, and lead and glaze an 8-inch x 10-inch stained glass panel.
All project materials included.
When: Thursdays, September 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2022, from 7 to 10 pm
Fee: $225 + HST (includes all project materials and tool use)

If you are ready to take the next step into the world of art glass, or just want to try something new, Glasstronomy Studios offers a one-day beginner fused glass experience. Participants will learn about glass compatibility, degrees of firing and volume control while creating fused dichroic glass jewellery and a fused and slumped glass dish. Participants will learn how to safely handle the material and operate the mini kilns.
All project materials and firings included.
When: Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 10 am to 4 pm
Fee: $195 + HST (includes all project materials and firings and tool use)
