Welcome to Glasstronomy Studios’ adult art glass workshop program. This calendar details the beginner sessions offered between January and October 2025 for people just getting started in glass or wanting to refresh their skills.

Our project-based learning program teaches best practices and techniques that will give you a taste of the possibilities. Explore the medium in a fun and friendly environment while creating something uniquely yours. Nurture your glass skills and let your creativity flourish!

How to register

To register, we currently accept payment in person (cash, Debit, MasterCard and Visa), by email (e-transfer), or by phone (MasterCard and Visa). Please note that HST will be added to the listed fee at time of payment.

Cancellation policy: A Studio credit will be issued for cancellations up to 48 hours before start date. We regret that Studio credits will not be issued under the 48-hour threshold.

Studio credits can be applied to a future purchase of a workshop or course.

    • Cutting glass: Learn essential glass cutting skills, including how to safely and accurately cut and shape a large selection of stained glass for your project.
    • Foiling and soldering: Gain hands-on experience in applying copper foil and solder to create a cohesive panel.
    • Framing your art: Finish your piece with a 10-inch metal ring, ready to display in your home or gift to someone special.

  • Course | B236 | Beginner glass fusing: Jewellery, dishes, tealights and more! (March 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2025)

    Join us for a four-evening exploration into the vibrant world of glass fusing. This hands-on beginner course is designed for those eager to learn the fundamentals of this captivating art. Over the span of four evenings, you will create stunning glass pieces, including unique jewellery, elegant dishes, enchanting landscape pictures, and charming tealights.

    Each session will include guided instruction, hands-on practice, and plenty of opportunities to experiment and refine your skills. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with several finished pieces and the confidence to continue your glass fusing journey.

  • Course | B238 | Beginner/Intermediate stained glass: Copper foil and lead combination technique (September 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2025)
